Job Title: Cath Lab Technician Profession: Cath Lab Technician Specialty: Cath Lab Technician Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 4x10 Days Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: 3 years of recent experience required License: Current Radiologic Technologist License Certifications: ARRT Certification, ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - ARRT Certified Radiologic Technologist - Interventional Cardiac experience - Scrub and EPIC experience - Cath/EP Lab experience Description: The position requires an ARRT Certified Radiologic Technologist. The shift is 4x10 days from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. This position includes 7 on-call shifts per schedule block, with 3 shifts on full weekends. Candidates must secure housing within 30 minutes of the facility to fulfill on-call obligations. The unit specializes in cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology. There are 2 procedure rooms for various cardiac interventions including PCI, Impella, balloon pump, device implants, and ablations. The patient population is adult. Experience with EP responsibilities including scrubbing for device implants, lead revisions, and ablations is required. The EMR system used is EPIC-cupid. Equipment utilized includes Toshiba X-Ray. Floating to interventional radiology may be required.
