Job Description:
Year Up seeks dynamic individuals to participate in our Sales
Fundamentals Career Training Program, designed to equip young
adults with the necessary skills to excel in sales roles across
various industries. This immersive, one-year training combines
rigorous academics with hands-on experience through real-world
internships. Participants will emerge as highly competent sales
professionals, well-versed in fundamental sales techniques and
equipped with practical experience gained from top firms. Engage
actively in all training sessions, workshops, and webinars to
understand sales fundamentals and industry-specific sales
strategies. Participate in simulations and role-play exercises
designed to develop negotiation, communication, and presentation
skills. Complete assignments and projects that demonstrate the
application of sales techniques and knowledge. Work collaboratively
with peers and program instructors to enhance team-based selling
skills. Complete the internship component of the program by
applying academic learning in real-world business environments.
Meet regularly with a mentor for career guidance and to assess
progress. Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to
learn and apply sales strategies quickly Strong analytical and
problem-solving skills Proficiency in using CRM software and other
sales tools Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

401k Participants will receive a Certificate in Sales Fundamentals
upon successful completion of the program. Additional sales
certifications may be pursued concurrently or after program
completion.
