Position Summary: Massachusetts Ready Mix is seeking an experienced and driven Outside Sales Representative to help grow our footprint in the ready-mix concrete market. This position is responsible for developing strong, long-term customer relationships, identifying project opportunities, and supporting our clients with product knowledge and technical guidance. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently in the field, have a strong understanding of the concrete industry, and be able to represent MRM with professionalism and credibility. Responsibilities: - Promote and sell ready-mix concrete to commercial, residential, municipal, and infrastructure customers. - Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular site visits and office meetings. - Understand the full range of MRM’s concrete mix offerings and advise customers on appropriate mix selections based on project needs. - Collaborate closely with dispatch, QC, and operations to ensure smooth order fulfillment and high customer satisfaction. - Act as a technical resource for clients on concrete performance, specifications, and placement best practices. - Track construction activity in the region and pursue new project opportunities. - Participate in pre-pour meetings and maintain communication throughout project execution. - Maintain accurate records of bid and sales activity, client communication, and project updates. - Identify and help resolve service, quality, or scheduling issues in real-time.
