See our full statement on diversity .OVERVIEW OF ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIESWe have immediate openings for Building Based Educators (BBE's) who can substitute in classes and support students at Match Charter Public School. A Building Based Educator position is a great opportunity for get experience in a school and can be a stepping stone for transitioning into a lead teaching position or another school-based role. We have openings at all three Match campuses: our PreK-5 elementary school located on 100 Poydras St. in Hyde Park, our 6-8 middle school located on 215 Forest Hills St. in Jamaica Plain, and our 9-12 high school located on 1001 Commonwealth Ave. in Brighton. The hours for these positions are 7am-4:30pm. Compensation is $24.99/hour and can be higher if the candidate has prior relevant experience.Building Based Educators are responsible for:

• Providing classroom instruction or support in Match classrooms in multiple grade levels and subject areas as a substitute for teachers and other school personnel.
• Assisting with school programming and student supervision as needed during non-instructional time;
  • Upholding high academic and behavioral expectations for students, and provide lots of support for getting students there;
  • Participating actively in Match's coaching and professional development programming; and
