the path to innovation, safety and styling.Role SummaryAutosystems
America-Division of Magna Lighting is looking for a Quality
Supervisor to join our team.Key Responsibilities Leads quality
initiatives to achieve established goals and objectives.
Responsible to manage/support Quality Leads for each shift. Conduct
Layered Process Audits and ensure corrective actions are
implemented and sustained. Initiation on Document Change Requests
based on findings from auditing of the processes. Initiation of
Process Deviations as required and ensuring that all aspects
including Customer Protection is adhered. Responsible to maintain
open channel of communication/support with all internal
departments. Responsible to ensure Company policies and procedures
are followed Plan and monitor new program development. Prepare,
review and perform performance appraisals for Quality Leads
ensuring confidentiality is maintained. Collect and correlate
relevant data that pertains to the overall efficiency and
effectiveness of the department. Assess trends through generated
graphs and charts. Maintain continuous improvement project tracking
and report out status monthly. Display a positive approach to the
continuous improvement of the department and keep current with new
products, processes, materials and equipment technologies.
Responsible to manage own time to ensure effective completion of
tasks/projects. Establish goals and objectives for the department.
Determine strategic directions for the company information needs
and implement. Oversee and maintain the safe launch area to ensure
part inspection is completed properly and action plans are
formulated for defects which have been captured. Other duties as
requiredKey Qualifications/Requirements Highly motivated, self-
directed, innovative and people oriented person. Able to multi-task
on several fronts to meet objectives. Able to drive accountability
down to direct reports through structured requirements,
expectations and timelines. Strong organizational and problem
solving and prioritizing skills; Self-starter with the ability to
prioritize many different tasks; Effective oral and written
communication skills; Ability to gather and analyze information;
Ability to work independently and also as part of a team. Strong
computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point,
Education and Experience Bachelor's Degree in engineering or
closely related field required.Experience can be substituted for
education. Electrical or lighting background is an asset ASQC
Certification is considered an asset 2 - 4 years of experience in a
supervisory role an asset 2-4 years of experience working in a
manufacturing environment required 2-4 years of experience working
in automotive Knowledge of SPC and MSA required. Awareness. Unity.
