The Family Partner will be part of the Plymouth Family Resource Center (PFRC) team working with families experiencing a range of issues that impact their home and family life. The Family Partner works with families who have children exhibiting behaviors that meet the Child Requiring Assistance criteria. The family partner and clinician work closely with the family to divert children from the court system who would benefit from mental health/behavioral health services/supports instead.

What You Will Be Doing to Make a Difference...

• 
  
• Assist parent/caregiver with meeting the needs of the youth
  
• Educating, teaching the parent/caregiver how to navigate the child serving systems and processes
  
• Develop community partnerships with formal and informal community resources thus enabling family access to expanded, ongoing community based services for the children and families
  
  Schedule:
  THIS IS A PART-TIME 20 HOUR A WEEK POSITION AND DOES NOT QUALIFY FOR BENEFITS.

  Credentials/Qualifications
  
  • 
    
  • Experience as a caregiver of a youth with special needs, and preferably a youth with mental health needs
    
  • Must possess a valid and clean MA driver's license and reliable transportation
    
  • Brazilian-Portuguese speaking candidates encouraged to apply
