collaboration among our team members. SUMMARY: Sets up computerized
numerically controlled machine tools and related equipment for
machining operations. Participates in problem solving activities
and contributes to quality improvements. Operates machines when
required. Trains other department employees and provides
performance assessment feedback to supervisor. Takes initiative to
stimulate team-based quality and productivity improvement
activities, supporting the basis for continuous improvement.
Actively promotes teamwork atmosphere and supports team
development. DESCRIPTION: /n - Works from drawings, blueprints, job
layouts, or other written specifications, determines feeds, speeds,
tooling and operational sequences. /n - Set up and inspect first
article part on any proven program and turn it in for Quality
Assurance verification at an 80% approval rate. /n - Change cutting
tools and location of work pieces during machining process. /n -
Installs cutting tools and various work holding devices to handle
the size of stock to be machined. /n - Operates and adjusts
machines until parts produced conform with specifications and time
standards. /n - Makes necessary adjustments to set-ups during
course of operations to maintain accurate production. /n -
Responsible for completeness of secondary set ups. /n - Detects and
reports improper operation, faulty equipment, and unusual
conditions. /n - Detects and reports significant variances in job
standards. /n - Upon completion of "First Article of Verification"
trains and monitors work of operator assigned to that machine. /n -
Run multiple plane operations. /n - Using an air hose the employee
cleans the parts. /n - Run multiple CNC machines. /n - Tolerances
of /- .005 /n - Works with highly cosmetic parts /n - Performs
secondary operations as defined by traveler, using various
machines/tools such as files, drill presses and sanders. /n -
Assists operators on which dimensions to inspect, (proper tools and
gauges). /n - Basic programming /n - Ensures quality of parts
before forwarding them to next operation/process. /n - Responsible
for cleanliness of his/her own work area and the general
housekeeping of the Company. /n - Reports any unsafe conditions to
Supervisor/Management/Maintenance. /n - Other duties as assigned.
/n /n REQUIREMENTS: /n - The ability to use micrometers, calipers,
height gauges and dial indicators. /n - 1 to 3 years CNC Set up
experience. /n - 1 to 3 years experience in a manufacturing
environment. /n - Mandatory 4th axis machining experience. /n -
Ability to read and interpret blueprints a must. /n /n BENEFITS:
