US Foods, a leading national foodservice distributor, is seeking a dedicated CDL A Truck Delivery Driver to join our Hyannis-based fleet. As a key member of our transportation team, you will play an essential role in fulfilling US Foods’ commitment to customer satisfaction by timely and safely delivering our diverse product range to restaurants and food service operators across the region. Your dedication to safety and operational efficiency will directly contribute to our company's ability to help businesses succeed in a competitive marketplace. Operate a tractor trailer safely and deliver products within assigned route schedule and time windows. Unload products from the truck manually or using hand trolley, and place them at customer premises. Perform vehicle safety inspections and ensure compliance with DOT regulations. Maintain logs of working hours and of vehicle service and repair status, following applicable state and federal regulations. Check and complete in an accurate and in-depth way all required paperwork associated with freight, mileage, and reporting. Establish positive relationships with customers and resolve any issues that may arise in the delivery process. Proficiency in operating a commercial vehicle Basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of truck maintenance Strong time management and customer service skills Ability to lift heavy objects and handle physical workload Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Life Insurance Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL A) Clean driving record DOT medical card
