You'll be a key member of our Agile squad, focusing on developing our Master Party Domain, collaborating to realize customer vision, managing customer master data, and fostering team growth. At Liberty Mutual, we value speed and quality, supporting transformative change through our agile and cloud transformation journey.As a Senior Data Engineer, you'll work closely with Product Owners to understand and implement the vision for your squad's services, aligning technical solutions with business needs and goals. Your work will be impactful, shaping the future of insurance technology.In this role, you would:

• Work with modern architectures, frameworks, and tools.
• Contribute to the technical vision of customer/party solutions.
• Partner with Product Owners to develop and refine roadmaps aligning technology with business priorities.
• Collaborate on developing the customer ecosystem and technical standards.
• Propose improvements to enhance process efficiency, security, maintainability, and flexibility.
• Enhance the delivery pipeline through automation and testing to improve time-to-market and quality.
• Support production issues as needed.
• Deliver technical artifacts and designs meeting business requirements.
• Participate in or lead design and code reviews.
• Influence decisions affecting profitability and operations.Qualifications
  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • 2+ years of Master Data Management experience (preferred).
  • Experience designing solutions using cloud platforms (AWS, Lambda, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of data solutions like Postgres and Mongo Atlas.
  • Experience building APIs (REST, SOAP, API Gateway, SpringBoot).
  • Familiarity with agile delivery methods.
  • Proficiency with tools like GIT and Jira.
  • Understanding of layered system architectures and shared software concepts.
  • Knowledge of application monitoring tools such as DataDog.
  • Strong consultative, communication, negotiation, and facilitation skills.Nice to have
    • Experience with Reltio MDM.
    • Familiarity with Python, Node.js, Golang.
