We're hiring an experienced pharmacy technician for a contract job where your expertise will directly support pharmacists in delivering exceptional care. In this position, you will play a vital part in ensuring patients receive the medications they need by assembling, stocking, and distributing them with precision and care. Apply today and a recruiter will reach out with more information. Minimum Requirements: Active New Hampshire pharmacy technician license required. Must have license in hand prior to submitting. National technician certification (PTCB or equivalent) required. Prior hospital pharmacy experience preferred. Experience with medication distribution tasks including filling and restocking Pyxis machines required. Experience with Meditech Expanse or similar electronic health record and medication documentation systems preferred. Familiarity with IV sterile compounding equipment and procedures preferred. Willingness to train in sterile compounding acceptable for candidates without prior IV experience. Basic computer skills for prepacking medications and electronic communication required. Strong communication skills for interaction with nursing and licensed staff required. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform tasks such as answering phones, picking and delivering medications, prepacking unit doses, station inspections, and managing returns. Adherence to hospital dress code: plain hospital or personal scrubs, closed-toe sturdy shoes. Assignment Details Facility type: Hospital (pharmacy department, main building). Shift: Nights. Shift hours: 2100 - 0730. Shift length: Approximately 10.5 hours. Scheduling: 8–10 hour shifts used across department; overnight technician scheduled 2100–0730. Floating: No floating outside pharmacy; may float within pharmacy as needed.
