Massachusetts travel nursing)/n - Setting: Pediatric Medical
Intensive Care Unit (MICU) — pediatric critical care / Pediatric
ICU/n - Employment Type: Travel Contract (Travel Nurse / Travel
Registered Nurse)/n - Start Date: March 29, 2026/n - End Date: June
28, 2026/n - Contract Duration: 13 weeks/n - Shift: 3x12-hour night
shifts (19:00 - 07:00); straight nights or straight days available
with larger weekend commitment/n - Hours per Week: 36/n - Weekend
Coverage: Every other weekend required/n - Charting: EPIC (Epic
EMR)/n - Parking: Free for night shift; discounted day passes with
shuttle service available/n /n/nCompensation/n /n - Estimated
Weekly Salary: $2,360 - $2,480 per week/n /n/nJob Requirements
(Pediatric ICU Nurse Qualifications)/n /n - Minimum 2 years of
recent Pediatric ICU / Pediatric MICU experience, including
ventilator management and inotropy/n - Active Registered Nurse (RN)
license (permanent license required)/n - BLS and PALS
certifications required/n - Experience working in a Trauma Level I
facility preferred/n - Travel nursing experience required (previous
Travel Nurse / Travel RN assignments preferred)/n - Ability to
float within scope to PICU, NICU, MSICU, and CICU as needed/n -
COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions
accepted)/n - Two professional references from two of the last
three places of employment (different facilities)/n /n/nKey
Responsibilities (Pediatric Critical Care)/n /n - Deliver
high-quality, family-centered care to pediatric patients in the
MICU as a Pediatric RN / Pediatric ICU nurse/n - Manage ventilated
patients and administer inotropic support (ventilator management,
vasoactive medication administration)/n - Care for patients with
complex diagnoses, including neurology, neurosurgery, orthopedics,
oncology, respiratory issues, congenital diaphragmatic hernia,
esophageal atresia, trauma, and other complex pediatric
conditions/n - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
(physicians, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, social work) to ensure
optimal patient outcomes/n - Float to other critical care units
(PICU, NICU, MSICU, CICU) as needed to support patient care and
unit staffing/n - Document care and interventions accurately using
EPIC (Epic EMR) and adhere to hospital documentation standards/n -
Participate in ongoing education, competency training, and
professional development to maintain clinical excellence/n
