are hiring a Psychiatrist (full- or part-time) to join our soon to
be open Boston, MA clinic. You'll be part of an interdisciplinary
team dedicated to delivering personalized, compassionate, and
high-quality care for individuals with serious mental illness
(SMI). The Opportunity: As a Psychiatrist at Amae you will play an
integral role in our collective mission to become the center of
excellence for SMI care. In alignment with Amae's holistic
wrap-around care model, you will co-manage a panel of complex
members through behavioral health assessments, diagnosis, treatment
recommendations, treatment planning, clinical treatment, medication
management, and follow up planning. Working within a collaborative
and shared decision making model, you will have the opportunity to
partner with clinical staff, peer specialists, primary care
providers and community partners. A patient advocate, you will help
members navigate the health and social services systems in Boston,
and work closely with patients to address problems and answer
questions, gather and provide information and advice, connecting
patients to resources and the community. Rooted in trust and
rapport, you will initiate, establish and maintain relationships
not only with patients, but also with families, as you care for

Provide behavioral healthcare management to Amae Health patients;
monitoring and managing care in alignment with a holistic approach
to care and through the application of an array of treatment
modalities as patients progress through phases of recovery Develop
individualized treatment plans early during the engagement and
stabilization phase, focused on addressing specific psychosocial
and medical needs that might limit recovery Provide continuous,
regular consultations as patients navigate recovery, both in person
and on occasion, virtually Liaise with patient care teams and
collaborate closely with behavioral health providers to ensure an
integrated, cohesive approach to care Address medical needs to
mitigate negative impacts of various social determinants of health
What You'll Have: Board-Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrist,
with a MA license and DEA that are active, unrestricted and in good
standing In possession of or willing to obtain a possess Clozapine
REMS certification and Medicaid enrollment if needed Prior
experience with mental health and/or addiction issues and have
knowledge/familiarity of the medical, mental health, and social
service systems in the greater Boston area A holistic perspective
of "health", and an understanding of patient rights Demonstrated
ability and desire to work effectively in a wide range of settings
with people from diverse backgrounds, including patients and
colleagues Comfort working either one-on-one or in group settings,
strong coaching and negotiation skills Excellent interpersonal and
communication skills and ease adapting in a dynamic environment
Solid understanding of technology and a passion for utilizing
technology to improve care delivery and patient outcomes What We

individuals with these complex SMI conditions unlock lasting
recovery Unique team based care model designed to encourage true
clinical collaboration, in-person with physician grand rounds and
daily care team huddles including psychiatrists, Clinic Director,
PCP, Therapists, Community Health Workers, Clinic Care
Coordinators, Dietitians etc. Amae Health is committed to fair and
equitable compensation practices. Compensation for this role is
$200 per hr. Actual compensation packages are based on several
factors that are unique to each candidate and it is not typical for
an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range. These
factors include, but are not limited to, job related knowledge and
skill set, depth of experience, certifications, degrees,
