As needed Care Setting: Detox / Behavioral Health Position Type:
Psych RN – Detox Program Position Overview: Seeking a Psych RN for
a detoxification program providing 24-hour nursing care for
individuals withdrawing from alcohol and/or other substances. The
program focuses on medical stabilization and emotional support
during a critical phase of recovery. Key Responsibilities: - Record
and report observed symptoms, responses to treatment, and changes
in patient safety status - Administer medications as prescribed -
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide health
education and maintain accurate medical records - Respond to
patient care needs and assist with activities of daily living -
Promote a safe, positive, and therapeutic environment - Assist with
admissions, discharges, and transfers - Participate in treatment
team meetings and assist with development of care plans
Qualifications: - Active and unrestricted Massachusetts RN license
- Current CPR certification - Experience with addiction treatment
services preferred, but not required - Strong communication and
