This leadership role combines operational management, staff leadership, and clinical oversight , ensuring high-quality, compliant cardiopulmonary care. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Staff Management Lead and supervise the respiratory therapy department Create and manage staff schedules and approve timecards Handle HR-related functions including hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management Foster staff development, engagement, and accountability Operations & Compliance Oversee departmental operations, budgets, and equipment Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and hospital standards Develop, implement, and maintain clinical protocols and best practices Monitor quality metrics and drive performance improvement initiatives Clinical Oversight Ensure delivery of high-quality respiratory care for cardiopulmonary patients Provide clinical guidance and supervision to respiratory therapy staff Collaborate with physicians, nursing leadership, and interdisciplinary teams Provide direct patient care as needed Required Qualifications Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required Active Respiratory Therapist license (Massachusetts or eligible) Prior leadership or management experience in Respiratory Therapy required Strong knowledge of respiratory care operations, compliance, and quality standards Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills HumanEdge Health Phone: Email: HumanEdge Travel Healthcare Job ID 15388.
