working with Cynet Health to find a qualified NICU RN in Concord,
Massachusetts, 01742! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession:

per Shift: 12 Experience: Previous experience in special care
nursing of newborns preferred. License: Currently licensed to
practice professional nursing required. Certifications: BLS
Healthcare Provider required. NRP required. Must-Have: Experience
attending deliveries. Ability to float to postpartum when needed.
Description: The Registered Nurse is responsible for utilizing the
nursing process to provide comprehensive care appropriate to
neonates during high-risk deliveries and in a nursery. Nursing care
is provided in accordance with established standards and regulatory
agencies. The Registered Nurse is accountable for the safety of the
nursing care delivered or supervised. The Registered Nurse is
responsible to the patient and the family or significant others for
the quality of direct and indirect nursing care delivered.
Responsibilities include ensuring the safety of the patient
population by demonstrating age-appropriate skills in assessing,
planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care. The Registered
Nurse develops, implements, evaluates, and modifies plans of
nursing care for patients and families. The Registered Nurse
manages, directs, and supervises the practice of nursing, including
delegating selected activities to unlicensed assistive personnel
within their scope of practice. Participation in appropriate
in-service and continuing education programs is expected. The
Registered Nurse contributes to unit projects aimed at improving
patient care. The Registered Nurse represents the organization
professionally when interacting with others. Communication with
interdisciplinary practitioners is maintained to meet care
objectives. Patient and family teaching is provided as appropriate.
The Registered Nurse coordinates activities of multiple disciplines
to meet the plan of care. Documentation of findings and evaluations
is done according to policy. Attendance must meet the policy
requirements. Mandatory in-services and programs for safety,
emergency, and competency must be completed. Support for the
development of staff through mentoring and preceptorship is
expected. Job functions specific to the area are performed.
Coverage for Mother/Baby unit and Labor and Delivery may be
