The position is for a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech. The unit consists of
86 beds. The type of equipment used is GE. The documentation system
is Expanse. Scheduling requires 36-40 hours per week. There is a
floating policy to the ER during surges. Patient experience
requirements include 3 years of Cath Lab experience or 2 years in a
high-volume lab. The unit performs Heart Cath and EP Pacemaker
implant procedures. Additional procedures include Penumbra. The
goal is to have 10-15 days of call, including 1-2 weekends,
staffing dependent. The hospital received a health grade A for
Cardiology. This unit primarily focuses on Cardiac Cath Lab with
low-level EP procedures and assists with IR as needed.
Consideration for new equipment or technology, as well as the
