Pay: $2,144 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Hospital: Portsmouth Regional HospitalLocation: Portsmouth New HampshireAddress: 333 Borthwick AveUnit Name: Speech therapyBuilding: Main HospitalCost InformationUnit Specifics: Number of Beds : speech patient caseload ranges from 15- 36 Patient Ratios : depending on patient complexity, evaluations, MBSS s to perform. On average 6:1 Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) 2 current FTE, 1 new FTE starting 12/15, 2 PRN. Ideally 3 SLP on M-F and 2 Saturday, 1 Sunday Type of equipment : Documentation system :meditec expanse Scheduling requirements: M-F 7:30- 4 Floating policy: none Patient Experience requirements: ICU, trauma, neuro, independent with MBSS, FEES desirable but not required, strong with bedside swallow assessments, cognitive assessments, Trachs, Emergency DepartmentHospital Specifics- Certifications: CCC-SLP New Hampshire License, BLS, MBSS competentHiring profileRequested Skill Set: Must have: strong bedside swallow assessment skills, MBSS capability, Flexibility and strong communication skills Advanced skills needed: FEES not required but we have the equipment Procedures performed on unit: bedside swallow assessments and evals Certifications Required: CCC-SLP, BLS Dress Code: (Required uniform) scrubsUnit Guidelines/Policies: Please attach unit specific policies and guidelines.
