Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 11/17/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele Float Pool position requiring a MA RN license and the ability to pass a telemetry competency test. Responsibilities - Work in the Float Pool covering Med/Surg and Telemetry units - Hospital setting with assignment to like units and overflow areas as needed - 12-hour night shifts are required - Weekend and holiday shifts are expected - Biweekly orientation provided - No locals accepted; must reside more than 50 miles from the facility - Assigned nurses are expected to float between units and to cover overflow areas based on patient care needs - Charge Nurse experience is preferred but not required - Professional development activities should be documented - Study guides will be provided before competency testing - Holiday coverage is required as scheduled - All requests for time off must be presented at the time of application Requirements - Active MA RN license required - Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience - Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required - Must pass Telemetry (ECG) and Medication competency exams prior to assignment, with only one attempt allowed - Dysrhythmia and medication tests are administered via Zoom and require a minimum passing score of 85% - Must comply with COVID vaccine (plus booster) and flu vaccine requirements; medical exemptions allowed - At least a 6-month separation is required for returning travelers or previous employees of Beth Israel Lahey Health facilities Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-624451.
