TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Hospice RN in Bedford, New Hampshire, 03110! Pay Information $2,222 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Hospice Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum 1 full year of Hospice experience required License: Must have valid nursing license in hand Certifications: CPR, BLS Must-Have: - Recent specialized experience in Hospice - Proficiency in HomeCare HomeBase and OASIS within the last 6 months Description: The Registered Nurse coordinates and directs the provision of home nursing care according to physician's orders. Care is based on agency policies and procedures through the competent application of the nursing process. Responsible for supervising and evaluating Home Health Aides and Licensed Practical Nurses. The position requires home visits and periodic office meetings. Reliable transportation and a current driver's license are mandatory, along with agency-required liability insurance. The average number of patients per day ranges from 5 to 10. Points are assigned per visit and activity, with a total of 30 points expected per week. Types of cases include start of care, wound care, and follow-up visits. Traveling is required within a mileage radius of up to 75 miles. Mileage will be reimbursed at the IRS standard rate. Documentation must be completed within 24 hours of the patient appointment. All documentation that impacts patient care and billing must be accurate and timely. There are no guaranteed hours; contractors must meet weekly productivity points. The contractor may have the opportunity to float to nearby locations if additional hours are needed.
