qualified ER/Trauma RN in Manchester, New Hampshire, 03103! Pay
Information $2,080 per week About The Position Job Title:
Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room
Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Mid Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience:
2 years in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting with strong
pediatric presence preferred. License: Valid state nursing license
required. Certifications: ACLS, CPI, PALS, TNCC required.
Must-Have: Experience with pediatric population highly preferred.
Epic experience is required. First-time travelers are not accepted.
Local candidates are welcome. Description: The position requires a
minimum of 2 years of experience in a fast-paced emergency room,
with an emphasis on pediatric care. Experience with the pediatric
population is highly preferred. Epic experience is necessary for
this role. Travelers with previous employment history at this
facility are not eligible. Candidates residing within 50 miles may
apply at a local rate. The average daily census is around 70 visits
per day, with 36 rooms available. The shift is 12 hours in the
evening, from 3:00 PM to 3:30 AM. There is a rotation of weekend
shifts required every other weekend. The primary patient
diagnosesinclude minor cuts, fractures, abdominal and chest pain,
respiratory concerns, oncological and neurological emergencies,
trauma, psychiatric emergencies, and substance use disorders.
Special procedures performed in this unit include conscious
sedation, trauma alerts, stroke alerts, and cath lab activation.
Special equipment utilized includes point-of-care ultrasound, EPOC,
Belmont, Ranger, and tele-neurology. This position may require
floating to assist in the ICU and other areas as needed. Team
nursing and a collaborative approach to patient care are emphasized
