*Schedule:* 40-Hours, Full-Time
*Location:* Boston Medical Center, Boston, MA
*Sign-On Bonus:* $15,000 (for eligible external hires starting on or after 12/14/2024, payable after probationary period)

*Position Summary*

We are seeking a skilled and experienced *Senior Vascular Technologist* to lead operations within our *IAC-Accredited Vascular Lab*. As the *Lead Sonographer*, you will function as a healthcare provider under the delegated authority of the technical director and supervising physician, supervising a collaborative team and ensuring clinical excellence in vascular sonography.

*You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team that includes 4 Vascular Surgeons, 2 Cardiologists, 2 Neurologists, Fellows/Residents, and 6 Vascular Technologists.*

*Essential Duties and Responsibilities*
* Lead and supervise the vascular sonography team, overseeing clinical workflows and supporting staff development.
* Perform the full spectrum of vascular ultrasound exams including:
* Carotid Duplex
* Arterial and Venous Duplex Studies
* AV Fistula & Graft Surveillance
* Stent Surveillance
* Transcranial Doppler
* Renal Artery and Arterial Physiology Studies
* Vein Mapping
* Ensure image quality and adherence to QA protocols before interpretation.
* Support and assist in the IAC reaccreditation process.
* Train and mentor sonography students and physician residents.
* Provide technical oversight for sonography procedures to maintain clinical standards.
* Participate in continuous quality improvement (CQI) initiatives and documentation.
* Serve as a clinical/technical leader, promoting best practices in diagnostic imaging.

*Qualifications*

*Education:*
* Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Vascular Technology, Ultrasound, or a related allied health field.
* Completion of a certified vascular ultrasound program if degree is in an alternate allied health discipline.

*Licensure/Certification:*
* Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) credential through *ARDMS* required.
* Candidates must obtain RVT certification within 24 months if not already certified.

*Experience:*
* Minimum *4-5 years* of vascular sonography experience, with demonstrated proficiency in non-invasive vascular exams.
* Proven ability to operate all vascular lab equipment effectively.

Pay: $105,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
