Position Description:

Monitors, supports, develops, and deploys asset management applications and production environments. Facilitates change reviews and deployments, using Unix, Linux OS, Informatica, SQL and Cloud-based tools and technologies. Performs incident prioritization, remediation, coordination, root cause analysis, and communication and incident closure for supported applications and batches on ControlM and Autosys.

Primary Responsibilities:

Manages a team that supports multiple production applications.

Works closely to mentor system support engineers in monitoring, supporting, developing, and deploying applications and production environments.

Manages team of resources that addresses business issues following ITIL concepts.

Collaborates with product owners and business partners to delivery technology solutions to support business and process objectives and goals.

Facilitates change reviews and deployments, using Unix, Linux OS, Informatica, SQL, and Cloud-based tools and technologies.

Prioritizes incident management, remediation, coordination, root cause analysis, and communication for supported applications and batches on ControlM and Autosys.

Provides problem management services -- problem ticket creation, prioritization, follow-ups, and reporting and problem closure -- for supported applications and batches on ControlM and Autosys.

Provides disaster recovery test planning and execution services for supported applications and batches on ControlM and Autosys, in coordination with respective platform support teams.

Manages customer escalations, including assigning user priority requests to the task team and following up on closures within defined SLAs.

Defines project goals and process SLA definitions with product owners.

Maintains project status and provides monthly metrics and reporting related to services and solutions provided by the project team.

Maintains support schedules for the team to ensure 24/7 coverage in close coordination with offshore manager.

Education and Experience:

Bachelors degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience supporting asset management applications, data, batch cycles, and infrastructure using, Linux shell/Perl scripting, and Informatica.

Or, alternatively, Masters degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience for supporting asset management applications, data, batch cycles, and infrastructure using, Linux shell/Perl scripting, and Informatica.

Skills and Knowledge:

Candidate must also possess:

Demonstrated Expertise (DE) project managing a team of system support engineers to monitor (using SiteScope), support, and deploy (using uDeploy, Concourse, and Pivotal Cloud Foundry) asset management applications in production environments -- Tomcat, Amazon Web Services, Informatica, and Control-M.

DE leading level-2 production support, including batch cycle support -- incident and problem management -- to resolve critical issues within a 24x7 support and production environment using Control-M and Autosys; and applying SQL, Perl, and Shell scripts to provide temporary or permanent resolutions, including reviewing and deploying production changes adhering to enterprise change management guidelines.

DE planning and coordinating project schedules -- backlog tracking and sprint management (using Jira), manual process automation, process improvement, and reporting -- for project team members using Agile methodologies.

DE planning, executing, and documenting (using Fusion) periodic disaster recovery (DR) tests for asset management applications to ensure environmental application functioning and to support production traffic.
