Position SummaryThe Vice President of Operations and
Administration (VP of O&A) is a strategic leader responsible
for overseeing the organization's daily operations, administrative
functions, and human resources. This role ensures operational
efficiency, strong HR leadership, and effective business processes
that align with the company's mission, vision, and growth
objectives. The VP of O&A plays a critical role in developing
and implementing policies, optimizing workflows, and fostering a
positive workplace culture that attracts, develops, and retains top
talent.Key ResponsibilitiesOperations & Administration
- Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance
efficiency and drive organizational growth.
- Oversee all administrative functions, ensuring smooth internal
processes and alignment with business objectives.
- Establish performance metrics and key performance indicators
(KPIs) to track and improve operational effectiveness.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline business
processes, optimize resources, and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and
industry standards.
- Manage relationships with vendors, service providers, and key
stakeholders to support business operations.Human Resources
Leadership
- Provide strategic oversight of the Human Resources function,
including talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation and
benefits, learning and development, and performance
management.
- Lead initiatives to foster a culture of engagement, inclusion,
and high performance.
- Develop and implement HR policies, ensuring compliance with
federal, state, and local labor laws.
- Oversee workforce planning to align staffing strategies with
business needs and long-term goals.
- Champion leadership development and succession planning to
build a strong talent pipeline.
- Lead efforts to enhance employee experience, including DEI
initiatives and workplace wellness programs.Financial & Risk
Management
- Partner with the Finance team to develop and manage budgets,
monitor expenses, and optimize operational costs.
- Identify and mitigate operational and HR-related risks,
ensuring business continuity and compliance.
- Oversee administrative contracts, agreements, and risk
management initiatives.Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams across
operations, administration, and human resources.
- Collaborate with other senior executives to align
cross-functional strategies and initiatives.
- Act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on operational
and HR-related matters.Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources,
Organizational Leadership, or a related field (Master's degree
preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in operations,
administration, and human resources.
- Proven track record in strategic planning, process
optimization, and HR leadership.
- Strong understanding of labor laws, compliance, and risk
management.
- Experience in change management and driving organizational
transformation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal
skills.
- Ability to develop and execute long-term strategic goals while
