We are seeking an experienced Program Manager for our Unmanned Underwater Vehicle (UUV) Product Line . This results-oriented leader will have a disciplined process management skillset, strong technical acumen, and experience driving cross-organizational issues and projects to resolution. The Program Manager will be the main point of contact to customers and provide overall leadership to personnel on the program. The individual who fulfills this role will need to be able to conduct the following activities:

• Directs program activities to meet customer work objectives and serves as a liaison with customers to coordinate activities, negotiate tasks, and solve problems
• Serves as technical and programmatic liaison to the customer; maintains customer contacts to ensure conformity to all contractual obligations
• Conduct meetings and provide deliverables in accordance with the delivery schedule.
• Produce strong proposal responses to customer released task orders
• Provides technical and financial reports in order to show progress to management and customers
• Ensures communication and understanding of deadlines, assignments and objectives across all stakeholders
• Identifies risks and documents program progress including implementation, time lines, issues, risks, quality and successes measures to meet contractual requirements
• Develops, maintains, and implements a Program Management Plan that guides the performance of all functional activities performed on the Program
• Develops a detailed project plan, budget, and task management to achieve objectives
• Provides status reporting to customer, executive management, and team on progress toward objectives
• Makes decisions escalated from functional teams and escalates to Executive Management as needed
• Manages and ensures all project issues are resolved promptly to avoid negative impact to the budget or schedule
• Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems, tools, and information needs for project
• This role requires an on site presence in Plymouth 1-2 days per week to start with flexibility as program advances. Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires US citizenship status.
  
  Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  
  • Ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance
  • ---BA/BS and 15+ years of related experience or MS with 13+ years of related experience
  • ---10+ years program management experience or managing multiple contract awards under a business program
  • Experience leading bid, proposal, and/or capture teams for government contracts and/or multiple award task order
  • High degree of ethics and strong core values
  • Top-notch customer-facing skills
  • Comfortable leading others and making decisions in challenging situations
  • Exceptional oral communication and formal presentation skills and a demonstrated ability to establish excellent internal and external customer relationships
  • Ability to work both independently and as a member of team with initiative, creativity, and innovation
  • Strong writing skills, specifically related to response to RFPs
  • High level of business and financial acumen, with proven ability to manage scope and budget
  • Exceptional management and leadership skills and ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills for interacting with team members and prospective clients
  • Working knowledge of government contracting and contracts administration
    
    Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
    
    • An active Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
    • Expertise and knowledge in the entire development system life cycle, to include Operations and Maintenance (O&M)
    • Strong track record of understanding and interest in current and emerging technologies
    • Creating and managing a shared pool of internal and subcontract resources
