The Off-Road Vehicles Electrification Portfolio Manager is responsible for planning and executing commercialization of the Off-Road Vehicles Electrification Business, which include: Product Planning and Program Management Go-To Market Strategy Definition and Execution Channel Development Strategy, Planning and Support Global Market Development & Expansion Partnership Strategy and Development This role will drive objectives in each of these categories across all key Off-Road brands - RANGER, RZR, GENERAL, Sportsman, and Youth Products. In this role you will be responsible for building and executing strategies to support key business unit electrification initiatives. This will require the development and execution of business plans and budgets through cross functional collaboration and partnership with the ORV executive team and functional leadership. This role is critical part to driving growth and growing ORV Electrification business globally. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop comprehensive distribution plan inclusive of dealer network rollout, requirements and policies--
  • Lead Channel (dealer, field) Education, Training and Support for ORV Electrification
  • Oversee dealer network roll out, including launch materials, training, compliance requirements & best practices (dealer, field)
  • Partner with Legal and Service to develop EV infrastructure guidelines for Polaris dealers
  • Brief and train Customer Service teams to ensure seamless customer and dealer support
  • Develop a comprehensive plan to enhance dealer understanding and support of EVs and the planning / requirements / recommendations Core Marketing and Go-To-Market Planning:
    • Lead go-to-market strategy, message development, and execution across all ORV brands for new electric product introductions across marketing tactics (e.g. advertising, PR, digital, social, events and 1:1).
    • Represent the voice-of-customer in leading and supporting electric vehicle customer experience initiatives
    • Identify and execute dedicated opportunities to reach new customers (e.g. partnerships, events) Program/Product Management:
      • Represent the voice-of-customer to define compelling and differentiated electric vehicle concepts within, and aligned with, each of the off-road vehicle brands
      • Develop plan to drive electric off-road vehicle adoption, grow off-road market share and expand gross profit of the electric off-road vehicle portfolio
      • Champion and shepherd electric off-road vehicle programs through the Polaris Product Development Process
      • Lead ongoing competitive landscape assessment and war gaming within electric off-road vehicle markets
      • Collaborate with key partners to manage organizational mesh points with sales, marketing, service, engineering, sourcing and corporate communications Market Development / Expansion:
        • Identify, assess and evaluate addressable market opportunities for electric off-road vehicles for each of the off-road brands, across new and existing customer segments, and throughout global markets
        • Partner with local market leadership teams to develop business plans for, and launch, electric off-road vehicles in global markets outside of US-CAN
        • :
        • Represent off-road interests with external partners including Zero Motorcycles and future strategic alliances/partnerships.
        • Lead corporate electrification initiative by driving synergies with internal partners across other business units including, but not limited to: snow, global adjacent markets, on-road, central engineering
        • Maintain strong alliance with corporate communications and the Polaris REV'd Up initiative SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS Experience:
          • 5+ years of EV/Auto product management, marketing and sales/channel experience - relevant sales/channel experience is highly preferred
          • Electrification Product or Market experience preferred
          • Product marketing (GTM, research, planning, definition, business case)
          • Channel/Sales development and management
          • New market expansion and development
          • New business model development from strategy to execution
          • Experience introducing disruptive / fundamental products in an established industry Skillsets:
            • Equal parts thinker/doer - able to build out a strategy but also execute on it
            • Interest in becoming technically proficient in the unique aspects of EVs--charge times/lengths, types of chargers, customer requirements
            • Demonstrated ability to analyze customer needs and translate into product features and business models that drive profitable growth
            • Ability to understand and be inquisitive about technology & innovative thinking
            • Confidence to take new and bold recommendations forward
            • Experience in synthesizing complex information for product strategy creation
            • Ability to 'build the machine vs. always running it'
            • Proficient communicator with strong consultative skills
            • Executive presentation skills - ability to create and deliver effective business briefings
            • Strategic thinker with exemplary problem-solving skills
