Job Description:

Working under the direction of the Engineering Senior Team Leader, will be responsible for developing accurate

algorithms that can scale up to Big Data applications, and building easy-to-use interfaces to those algorithms;

designing and developing projects from early stages and playing a critical role in driving them to delivery; collaborating

with software engineers, quality engineers, user experience specialists, and technical writers to deliver software

solutions for end-users; designing and developing machine learning and statistics functions written in MATLAB or C++;

collaborating on multiple projects from early design stages including research, requirements gathering, creating project

plans, designing, and delivering the product; and developing business ideas and defining project requirements.

Education and Experience:

Master’s degree or higher (or foreign education equivalent) in Engineering or Computer Science and no experience.

OR

Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Engineering or Computer Science and five (5) years of experience

in job offered or five (5) years of experience in statistics and machine learning algorithm design.

Special Requirements:

• Demonstrated expertise performing functional programming in C, and object-oriented programming in C++ and

MATLAB.

• Demonstrated expertise writing statistics and machine learning algorithms using third party libraries -- Intel TBB

and C++ standard library.

• Demonstrated expertise in process-oriented software development and unit testing in MATLAB.

• Demonstrated expertise using and debugging MATLAB code to generate code from MATLAB or Simulink for

deployment to MATLAB Coder Hardware, and to analyze statistics and machine learning data.
