RESPONSIBILTIES: • Design, develop, and execute advanced
verification and validation (V&V) test plans covering
functional, regression, performance, and system level testing for
embedded controllers, IoT devices, edge platforms, and integrated
hardware/software solutions. • Validate complex, networked building
automation components and systems, including communication
protocols (e.g., BACnet, Modbus, CAN, I2C/SPI), cloud connected
devices, firmware driven modules, and real time control
applications. • Analyze detailed test results using logs, traces,
diagnostic tools, and telemetry data; identify root causes; and
deliver actionable recommendations to drive system level
reliability and performance improvements. • Develop and implement
advanced test automation frameworks, using scripting languages
(e.g., Python), CI/CD pipelines, containerized test environments,
and virtualization to increase coverage, repeatability, and
efficiency. • Create automated validation pipelines that integrate
REST APIs, hardware in the loop (HIL) systems, and data driven
verification methodologies to support continuous deployment and
continuous validation (CD/CV). • Collaborate with cross functional
engineering teams (software, hardware, systems, cloud,
cybersecurity, and quality) to ensure architectural alignment,
interface compatibility, and successful feature delivery. •
Document and communicate test results, defects, traceability
matrices, compliance artifacts, and risk assessments to technical
stakeholders and program owners. • Mentor and support junior
engineers, sharing best practices in test design, debugging,
automation engineering, and system integration testing. • Support
regulatory, standards, and certification readiness for relevant
industry requirements (e.g., UL, IEC, ISO), including automated
evidence generation and documentation maintenance. Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE: • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology,
engineering or mathematics • 5 plus years of experience applying
verification & validation (V&V) methodologies, including
designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test plans for
complex hardware/software or embedded systems. • 5 plus years of
experience in modern test automation, including scripting (e.g.,
Python), automated test frameworks, and hands-on experience working
in Linux-based environments. WE VALUE: • Bachelor's degree in
Engineering or Computer Science • Experience with virtualization
technologies and Docker containers. • Ability to interact with REST
APIs for test automation (via Postman and/or programmatically). •
Ability to work with structured data formats such as JSON, XML,
YAML, or TOML. • Experience handling or validating digital video
streams or files. • Foundational understanding of LLMs, VLMs,
embedding models, and vector databases for next-generation
automation or analysis workflows. • Basic understanding of at least
one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP). • Knowledge of industry
standards and best practices in verification and validation for
embedded and connected systems. • Strong analytical,
troubleshooting, and debugging skills. • Ability to excel in a
fast-paced, dynamic engineering environment. • Passion for
innovation, continuous learning, and process improvement. • High
attention to detail and a strong quality-oriented mindset. •
Experience with hardware, firmware, and software integration
testing. The application period for the job is estimated to be 40

extended depending on business needs and the availability of
qualified candidates. Job Posted: January 28, 2026 The annual base
salary range for this position is $139,000 - $174,000. Please note
that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
