Primary Location: Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania, United States
Full time R1188201 Date Posted: 03/12/2021 Remote opportunity, but
need to be regional to PA for potential office events Looking for a
motivated self-directed DevOps professional. The right candidate
would have a software development back ground as well as knowledge
of and experience with Operations and hosting systems. This person
should have a desire to learn about new ways of doing things and
implement them. This position is based in the IQVAI Horsham office
but offers telecommute to the right individual. This position
offers a mix of daily tasks and project related tasks. 50%+ of this
person's Daily focus will be on development of Automation and
systems to support the Operations team. The rest will be in general
support of Operations as part of the greater IQ Application
delivery team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: --
Development of automation and tools and application to bolster the
capabilities of the existing Operations staff and application
delivery. -- Level 2 support of the hardware and software
infrastructure. -- Microsoft OS and Linux OS administration, both
bear-metal and virtual. -- Hyper-V Visualization -- General Network
Services administration -- Documentation of--processes.-- --
Trouble shooting and resolution of Dev Operations issues.-- --
General Operations Help desk escalation path Level 2 and above.
