Job Description:

Position: Home Visitor Aide (0.34 FTE/10 hours per week, 9 months per year) Home-Based Early Childhood Education Program Duties: Work with families with young children (1 ½ -3 ½). Be responsible for implementing an Early Childhood curriculum that helps families prepare their children for school. Provide regular Home Visits to each assigned family using appropriate educational materials and resources. Organize and carry out group activities with the assigned families. Participate in in-service training and weekly staff meetings. Carry out assessments, evaluations, school contacts, weekly record-keeping, and duties as may be determined by the Programs. Your Skill Set: Have an interest, experience, and/or education in working with young children and their families. Relate well to young children, parents, and professionals from diverse backgrounds. Have the ability to work in a multicultural environment. Be willing to learn and use the Program materials and methods.
