Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract long-term substitute speech-language pathologist (SLP) position is available to support an elementary school program serving students with severe autism. This role offers a unique opportunity to apply specialized skills to help students facing significant communication challenges in an educational setting. Responsibilities include: Conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering speech-language therapy tailored to students with severe autism Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress Utilizing teletherapy skills as needed to provide consistent intervention Maintaining pertinent documentation and adhering to program guidelines Desired qualifications: Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology Experience in pediatric populations, particularly within schools and healthcare environments Familiarity with teletherapy service delivery Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Previous experience working with students with severe autism is highly valued Location: Boston, MA (elementary school setting) This contract position will extend through the current school year. Specific start date details will be communicated as they are confirmed. This opportunity is ideal for an SLP passionate about specialized support for students with autism spectrum disorders and willing to contribute expertise in a collaborative team environment.
