Job Description:

Assist the shop manager in all aspects of organizing heavy civil construction and steel erection materials and tools across two separate buildings and a lay down area. Conducts safe operations of multiple size pick up trucks in order to safely deliver or recover tools, equipment, and materials from existing job sites. Respond to emergency requisitions from supervisors in the field. Maintains equipment both in house and through third party vendors to ensure common use tools are properly serviced and in good working condition. Assists in scheduling tools and equipment in the shop managers absence. Assists with various maintenance tasks associated with two office / warehouse buildings. Must be a self starter that possesses initiative and willing to work flexible hours. Must be organized. Must have a clean driving record, DOT Medical certification, and able to drive vehicles over 10,000lbs. Preferred Class B. Preferred hoisting license. Preferred mechanical or construction experience. Preferred local to the greater Boston area with knowledge of road networks and restrictions on Massachusetts highways.
