Organizes office operations. Performs administrative support work requiring application of varied work methods and procedures. Work requires familiarity with policies, practices, and procedures of the facility.Additional Details: This position is scheduled for 10:00A to 6:30P to take calls from the courts for patient placement as well as performing general administrative assistant duties. What you bring to the table:Education:High school diploma or equivalent required.College level courses preferredExperience:Five (5) years of experience as a secretary or administrative assistant, two of which must have been in support of upper management in the private sector or private/public partnershipsLicenses/Certifications:None requiredWhat you will do:Maintains files, handles correspondence and reports as needed and assures completion of required paperwork.Serves as a secretary and takes minutes for the Governing Council meetings and other meetings as assigned, keeps the records of such meetings.Handles a variety of mailings and distributions within the Facility as well as to the community.Responsible for keeping calendars and scheduling of activities.Preparation and handling of documentation and materials for Governing Board meetings.Collects, tracks, and ensures signing of timesheets of pertinent staff.Checks, prioritizes, and relays mail (both e-mail and hard copies).Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook & Internet.Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department.Ability to read and communicate in English.High degree of empathetic listening, tact and kindness toward others.The ability to communicate well verbally.Excellent written and verbal communication.Must be able to apply principles of critical thinking to a variety of practical and emergent situations and accurately follow standardized procedures that may call for deviations.Must be able to apply sound judgment beyond a specific set of instructions and apply knowledge to different factual situations.Must be alert at all times; pay close attention to details.Must be able to work under stress on a regular or continuous basisPerform other duties as assigned.Wellpath is an EOE/Minorities/Females/Vet/Disability EmployerOur investment in you:Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance plan optionsTime off & leave benefits401KTuition ReimbursementParental benefitsPerks and discountsAnd more available here
