Responsible for evaluation and treatment of patients with a variety of orthopedic, musculoskeletal, balance and other physical disorders, working cooperatively with an interdisciplinary team and department to achieve goals and objectives for the provision of optimal patient care services. Organizes and directs the treatment activities of physical therapist assistants, rehabilitation aides and/or co-op students.

We offer mentorship opportunities.Job Description1 - Provides appropriate and comprehensive evaluations, re-evaluations and treatments, through discharge, in accordance with established departmental and discipline specific standards of care and practice, and within insurance parameters as required. -2 - Completes all documentation, discharge and charge entry services per department standards -3 - Demonstrates behaviors supportive of departmental standards for productivity with occasional variance due to patient volumes. -4 - Embraces technological solutions to work processes and practices5 - Assumes overall responsibility for own professional development by maintaining professional and required skills/licenses, incorporating evidenced-based practice and performance improvement initiatives as a part of ongoing practice.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (Cont.)1 - Technology and Learning - - a - Participates in continued learning and possess a willingness and ability to learn and utilize new technology and procedures that continue to develop in their role and throughout the organization. - - b - Embraces technological advances that allow us to communicate information effectively and efficiently based on role.JOB REQUIREMENTSMinimum Education - PreferredBS, MS or DPT from accredited physical therapy school preferred.Minimum Work ExperiencePrevious clinical experience/rehabilitation experience preferred; orthopedic rehabilitation experience desirable.Required Licenses / Registrations PT - Licensed Physical TherapistRequired Classes/Skills -BLS - Basic Life Support
